This MiniTerm is Serial terminal software for RS-232C.Palm has not so wide screen for display. and so if we use palm for serial terminal then sometime insert Return.It's a not useful.This program use original small font and wide image screen (93characters * 105characters).

Using

Startup

This program neme is MTerm. Please select ICON of MTerm.

This is startup screen of MTerm. Initial setting are 8bit / Non parity / 19200bps.

• A ----- ReLoad ON/OFF
  Indicater for ReLoad ON/OFF
  ----- ReLoad ON
  ----- ReLoad OFF
  ReLoad ON/OFF controll from menu or tap to this icon.
  This option use case of lost the data when very fast communication
• B ----- Condition of communication
  ----- disconnect, if start the communication then change icon to arrow.
• C ----- Condition.
• D ----- Error message
  Happy face is good condition,if chang the face it has some error.
  You can reset the error by tap to this icon or menu.
• E ----- Clear
  Delete all data.
• F ----- Indicater of page.
  This icon Indicate position of display page in all image page.
• G ----- Manual ReLoad button.
  You can manual reload when reload switch off.
• H ----- Left Scroll
• I ----- Right Scroll
• J ----- Manual ReLoad button.
  You can manual reload when reload switch off.
• K ----- UP/Down Scroll

 

SetUp menu

You can select 4 types easy settings.
And you can set Reload ON/OFF.

Edit menu

• Text clear ----- clear text buffer.
• Refresh ----- erase FIFO data in UART
• Test mode ----- Output the test character.

Baudrate menu

Select Baud-rate . ( I recommend 19200 or less )

If you select Other then you can set Baudrate from 1200 upto 57600.
( for example, you can set 1234bps :-)

Option menu

Select Parity and Bit-length.

• NON ----- Non parity
• ODD ----- parity Odd
• EVEN ----- parity Even
• 7bit ----- 7 bit length
• 8bit ----- 8 bit length
• Stop Bit 1
• Stop Bit 2

Page position indicater
Reload SW --- ON
Reload SW --- OFF

Button

• Key SW Up ----- scroll up
• Key SW Down ----- scroll down
• ToDo SW ----- scroll to Right
• Address SW ----- scroll to Left
